About The Jonesville Volunteer Fire Department
For the Jonesville Volunteer Fire Department (JVFD), their mission to protect and serve the people and property of Clifton Park, New York, has remained unchanged for over 100 years. The community, however, has grown exponentially over the years. And to meet the fire services needs of those they serve, JVFD had two fully customized pumpers built by Toyne, Inc. The new Toyne Pumpers were recently delivered to the fire department.

- Toyne mounted the two bodies onto a Spartan Gladiator LFD chassis that boasts a 20-inch raised roof
- Powering these behemoths is a 450-HP Cummins ISL 9 engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission
- For fire suppression, the JVFD's pumper designs called for a 750-gallon UPF tank (monitored by an ICI SL Plus Tank Gauge), Hale QMax-XS pump that's capable of pumping 1,500 gallons of water per minute, and a Foam Pro 2001 Class-A foam system
- The apparatus have multiple equipment compartments, featuring ROM roll-up doors
