About The Lemmon Fire Department (LFD)
The department utilizes ten different apparatus to respond to emergencies in and around Lemmon. In 2021, LFD and its 35 volunteer firefighters played a vital role in spearheading logistical and firefighting efforts in coordination with numerous departments to control a wildfire that rapidly expanded to burn over 20,000 acres near Lemmon. Being able to call upon their new Toyne, the department will continue to take the call effectively for years to come.
